Our body is many things.

Our body is a temple. It is important to treat it as such and give it the importance and care it deserves. We do not have a soul, we are a soul. And our body protects it.

Our body is our structure, our support and our framework. It is what holds together so many vital parts for our functioning. It makes them work as one and ensures that we can do everything our abilities allow us to do.

Our body is a work of art. It’s what we show the world, so make sure it’s something worth showing.

The human body is one of the most complex things on this planet. It is made up of so many parts vital to its functioning that it is very important to keep it healthy and in good condition. Especially when we take into account all the uses we can give to it, particularly when we put our imagination into action and create something from scratch using our body as a canvas.

This time Gay Traveler’s Guide is proud to present Michael Mejia and his work on the cover of the magazine. This talented artist captivated us with his impressive body painting art, reflecting two of the things we love most, travel and Mexico. For the photo session of this edition Michael created different images inspired by the works of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera and used the technique of camouflage to hide one of the models in a travel scenario.

We want to thank José Moreira and Diana Desirée for participating in this issue and Jean Carlo Delgado for all the support provided during the photo shoot.
